The 10th edition of the World Report Innovations in Newspapers presented at the Annual Congress of the World Association of Newspapers in Goteborg.

On the 12th anniversary of its catalan-language edition, Diari de Balears (Palma de Mallorca, Spain) has reinvented itself with the help of INNOVATION.
Directed by Carlos Soria, a team of consultants has implemented a deep renovation in it's design (Javier Errea) in its journalistic model (Carlos Enrique Bayo) and Web (Ismael Nafrķa).
On Sunday, May the 18th the inaugural issue of this new era was on sale in newsstands.
The renewed dBalears is first in this Mediterranean Islands to introduce most media improvements for the 21st Century -a newspaper betting on great stories of human dimensions, in full color and with in-depth coverage of new social trends.
